Bass Camp is the perfect place for those looking to get “off the grid.” This camp runs on its own solar power system that assists with lights and outlets but does not support an electric kettle, microwave, hair dryer, flat iron, electric razor, etc – Making it the perfect camp to spend some time getting back to basics. Bass Camp can sleep up to 5 people on a double bed, a single bed, and a sleeper couch.

The bass dam on which this camp is situated is home to 4 species of fish and the area is home to a variety of bird species – making this dam a perfect place to rest peacefully or enjoy some light fishing. Please note that fishing in our Bass Dam is catch and release only!

This camp requires high-clearance vehicles for safer access. Steep spiral stairs in Bass Camp may not be easily accessible for elderly or disabled people. There is no Wi-Fi and very limited cell phone service at Bass Camp.

Bass Camp Unit:

• R720 per person per night single, or R600 per person per night sharing
• Maximum occupancy of 5 people sharing
• These rates also include access to the communal areas and activities within the main camp
